Guwahati: In yet another sensational incident, a dead body of a man was recovered in Satgaon area of Guwahati on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Isak Marak who was a resident of Puberun Nagar.
According to reports, the body was recovered by locals at around 5:30 am lying dead on the roadside at Puberun Nagar.
Reportedly, the locals spotted the body and informed the police officials. On getting information, the officials arrived at the spot and recovered the body.
Reports further claimed that Marak was employed in a garage.
Meanwhile, the body has been sent to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for post mortem and further investigation into the matter is underway.
It may be mentioned that the reason behind the death is yet to be ascertained.
