India returns Two Pakistani crossed the border by mistake

Guwahati: Two Pakistani Nationals has been released on Sunday who had accidentally crossed the border and entered India.

The two Pakistani nationals identified as Sarwar Baig and Mohammad Asif.

According to reports, both of them had accidentally crossed the international border in 2016 and 2018 respectively.

This was informed by the protocol officer Arunpal Singh.

Singh said that the pair was released and repatriated to Pakistan after examining their papers and passing custom procedures.

Sarwar Baig was quoted by ANI as saying, “I crossed the border by mistake. I’m relieved that I’ll be reunited with my family.”

Asif mirrored his sentiments, saying, “It’s been four years since I crossed the border. I came here by accident.”
