Guwahati: With cybercrime being a major issue for the entire world, it was reported that Iran’s entire rail system was attacked by hackers causing major disruptions in the rail services across the country.
The hackers allegedly posted fake messages about train delays and cancellations on display boards at stations all over the country. Due to this, the entire rail network in the country was disrupted.
This hack brought unusual chaos at the railway stations. Trains across Iran lost their electronic tracking system due to this particular. However, it was not clear if that was also a part of the cyber attack.
However, a spokesman of the state railway company, Sadegh Sekri reportedly claimed that “the disruption” did not cause any problem in the train services.
