Manipur CM visits different localities under Naoriya Pakhanglakpa Constituency

Guwahati: Manipur Chief Minister N.Biren Singh visited different localities under Naoriya Pakhanglakpa Constituency ahead of the Assembly election in the state.

During his visit to the constituency, the CM visited different localities including Malom Tuliyaima Awang Leikai, Meitram, Hiyangthang & Mongsangei for interactive sessions with the people of the respective areas.

The inhabitants of this constituency have been neglected by their past leaders for a long time since they have had no solid leaders to represent them. People are ready to elect BJP candidate S Kebi Devi in the next election after watching what has happened in other parts of the state.

Earlier on Thursday, the Election Commission (EC) revised the Assembly election dates for Manipur.

The first phase election will now take place on Feb 28 instead of Feb 27 and the second phase of voting will be held on 5 March which was earlier scheduled on March 3.

The commission has rescheduled the dates for the assembly elections for the second time.
