Guwahati: The Congress on Monday released a fresh list of candidates for the upcoming Manipur Assembly Elections 2022.
The party’s list included the names of 30 candidates who will fight in the upcoming legislative polls.
In an official notice issued by the grand old party, a total of 30 names have been announced for campaigning in the poll-bound state. Apart from Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, other leaders like Jairam Ramesh, former CM Okram Ibobi Singh, and Kanhaiya Kumar have also been included in the list.
Manipur will go to the polls in two phases on February 27 and March 3 and the counting of votes will be held on March 10.
The list of campaigners was released a day after Congress formed a pre-election alliance with parties that share a democratic ideology, principles, and motto.
