Meghalaya CM Conrad K Sangma Joins Queue Early to Cast Vote in Tura During First Phase of Lok Sabha Elections

Northeast Desk, 19th April: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma arrived at the Walbakgre polling station in Tura promptly at 6:30 am to participate in the voting process.

As the voting for the first phase of the 18th Lok Sabha election commenced at 7 am across 102 constituencies in India, Sangma queued up alongside fellow citizens.

Expressing surprise at the early turnout, Sangma spoke to the media, urging people to seize the opportunity to exercise their democratic rights by casting their votes.
