Meghalaya: Congress Candidate Vincent H Pala Casts Vote in Jaintia Hills During First Phase of General Elections

Northeast Desk, 19th April: Lok Sabha member and Congress candidate Vincent H Pala exercised his voting rights during the first phase of the General Elections in his village, Lamyrsiang, situated under the Sutnga, Saipung constituency in the Jaintia Hills district on April 19.

Accompanied by his mother, Pala, who is contesting from the Shillong constituency, participated in the voting process. His mother also cast her vote, joining the democratic exercise.

The voting process commenced across the state at 6 am, with polling booths witnessing widespread participation from citizens, reflecting the enthusiasm and commitment of the electorate to fulfill their civic duty.
