The session delved into the progress achieved under PMJVK and deliberated on upcoming projects aimed at facilitating the implementation of various schemes across departments such as Sports & Youth Services, ICT, and Social Welfare Tribal Affairs & Women & Child Development.

Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram (PMJVK) stands as a Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS), dedicated to development programs focusing on community infrastructure and basic amenities in identified areas.

Under this scheme, implementation occurs under the auspices of State Governments/Union Territory (UT) Administrations, operating on a fund-sharing model. Projects are executed and supervised by the respective State/UT Government.

Proposals under PMJVK undergo scrutiny by the State Level Committee (SLC), led by the Chief Secretary of the concerned States/Union Territories (UTs), based on the demand for infrastructure development in identified areas.
