Guwahati, 13th September: In a recent development, opposition parties have leveled allegations of a “Kisan Sampada scam” involving Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s wife, Riniki Bhuyan Sarma. Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi accused the Chief Minister of using his influence to assist his wife’s company in obtaining Rs 10 crore as part of a credit-linked subsidy under the Kisan Sampada scheme.
