Guwahati: The Railway Department conducted eviction drive in order to clear railway property of unauthorized encroachment in Assam’s Sarupathar.
According to sources, the Railways conducted the operation in Golaghat district’s Sarupathar to remove commercial buildings that had trespassed onto railway properties.
According to officials, the drive resulted in the eviction of over 100 such unlawfully created stores and businesses.
