Guwahati: In a shocking incident, an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was found in Tinsukia district of Assam on Sunday.
According to reports, the IED was found at Tinsukia’s Dirak gate.
According to reports, three youths ran away after spotting Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) officers conducting a regular check at the Dirak.
The youths are suspected to have carried the IED.
Meanwhile, Police and members of the bomb squad arrived on the scene.
An investigation has been launched along with search operations to arrest the culprits.
