Union HM Amit Shah to hold two election rallies in Tripura on Feb 12

Guwahati: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address two rallies and a roadshow in poll-bound Tripura for the Assembly election on February 12

According to reports, Shah will address at two rallies as part of the Vijay Sankalp Rally after visiting the Mata Tripura Sundari Temple in Udaipur town of Tripura at around 11.

Shah will hold the first rally in Chandipur in the Unakoti district at 12 pm and later in Bishramganj town in the Sepahijala district at 2 pm.

The Home Minister will then hold a road show in the Pratapgarh Assembly constituency at around 4.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 11 addressed two rallies in the election-bound state of Tripura. He lambasted the Left Congress and urged people to vote for the BJP to teach them a lesson.

On February 16, the state will hold elections for 60 seats in Tripura. While elections in Meghalaya and Nagaland will take place on February 27.

The counting of votes for all three states will be held simultaneously on March 2.

BJP National President JP Nadda claimed during a recent visit to Tripura that the opposition used to blame Tripura for blockades and insurrection. However, the definition of the state shifted to include peace, prosperity, and progress after the BJP took office.

Besides Nadda, Shah also visited Tripura and held a roadshow along with Chief Minister Manik Saha.
